Now for the first time Facebook is allowing advertisers to buy and then choose News Feeds or Mobile as placement categories. This is separate from other ad placements and uses tools like Ads A PIor Power Editor.
This change gives advertisers more ability to optimize their campaigns and more control over who sees their ads. By being able to choose if their Ad is shown in Mobile or a News Feed it opens the door for new opportunity’s for app and game developers to maximize the mobile craze.
Another powerful strategy with this new introduction is that Sponsored Stories can only reach advertisers who have “Liked” their Fanpage, or added their app, or have connections on Facebook with those who have already “Liked” the page.
Now Third-party mobile apps can control where within the app they want to send your viewers. They may want to send them to an information page or directly to a download page.
